Open auditions will be held to cast PELICANS by ERIC YOKOMORI.  The show will be directed by TAURIE KINOSHITA and runs March 24 – April 24, 2016.

In a community of diverse people at that stage when a “kid” becomes an “adult,” individuals must weigh their choices between their friends and the family they hope to grow into.

Told in the bold and affronting style of Eric Yokomori, this is a story of the millennial challenge that will appeal to those theatre-lovers who appreciate the landscape of KKT… and enthrall those who are looking for a reason to love the theatre.

There will be a free audition workshop held from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, Wednesday December 16, 2015, also at Kumu Kahua Theatre.  This workshop is an opportunity for all interested to work with the script and director, and learn the best way to prepare for this audition.

The workshop is free, but space is limited.  Please call 536-4222 or email to reserve your spot.

Director Taurie Kinoshita is looking to cast 8 men in their late teens to 30's, any ethnicity; one woman in her 20's any ethnicity and one woman in her 40's, any ethnicity.
